Looking for a guild?

Start with the guilds looking for members and narrow from there. Every guild that is recruiting says so one of two ways: an officer flagged it, or the guild was heard advertising for players in a public chat channel. Both are dated and both expire, so a guild you find here is one still asking rather than a post from a tier ago.

Filter to guilds recruiting your class and spec. A guild that needs a Restoration Shaman and a guild that needs a third tank are both "recruiting", and only one of them is worth your application. Pick your class in Wants my class and the list becomes the guilds that actually have a spot for you — then check their raid nights against your own week before you type anything.

Nobody here is hidden behind a Discord invite. Where a guild has claimed its listing you get its loot system and how to reach it. Where it has not, you still get raid nights, progression and every log it has uploaded — enough to decide whether to whisper them at all.

Looking for members?

If you run a guild and you are looking for players, claim its listing and tick Recruiting now. It then appears in the list of guilds looking for members and under every class and spec you are short of — beside progression and raid times read from your own logs, which persuades an applicant rather better than a trade-chat macro. It is free, and it switches itself off when you stop, so you are never advertising a roster you have already filled.

How this directory is built

Guilds get here two ways, and neither is by asking. Most of the 1,946 listed were found in Warcraft Logs because they killed a boss on the TBC Anniversary realms; the rest were seen recruiting recently. Nobody submits a listing, so nobody can invent a guild or inflate its progression.

Everything here expires. A guild that stops logging stops showing as active, and a recruitment note disappears once the advert stops being heard. Nothing on this page is a post somebody forgot to take down two years ago.

A guild that advertises but never uploads logs is still listed, marked no logs. Plenty of guilds never log, and leaving them out would hide exactly the ones a new player is most likely to join — but the advert is all you get, and its page says so.
